I have been a potter for thirty-nine years, I started on this journey in my early twenties. I fell in love with clay, the instant I touched it. I dreamt of being a potter for life, I always say to everyone if I am a potter until my journey here comes to an end, I will have lived my dream. I truly don’t feel that I work.

My journey into working with clay started in late 1992 when my second son was six months old. As a beginner, I felt intimidated but also loved the achievement of creating functional ware. I bought my first wheel and practiced at home with mixed results, most ended up in the bucket.
